Vallejo 4th of July Parade - H-D/Buell of Vallejo

Details: UPDATE- 7/2/10: WE ARE ON TO RIDE IN AND HELP ALONG THE PARADE ROUTE!! Have fun! - Parade riders (you know who you are) should arrive at shop at 8:30AM and meet with Dustin and Mike K. to decorate the bikes, and then be ready to quickly depart for Parade route at 9:30. ROUTE VOLUNTEERS need to meet at the park behind the library (on Georgia a block east of the waterfront) at 9AM to get your assignments- Be at our assigned intersections at 9:45 - Set up barricades at intersections. These will be delivered by the city and we will erect them between 9:45 and 10:00. - Have fun! Leroy.

2010 Topaz Ride - Topaz Lake CA/NVDetails: ***Rescheduled! -- -- -- Join us for Vallejo HOG's 5th Annual Run to Topaz Lake for a fun filled weekend in Nevada. We will be leaving Vallejo Fri. morning for a scenic ride to this little lake. Saturday we will have another ride or two planned. That evening at the lodge we will be doing something a little different - make your own TACOS and Margaritas (cost per person is about $7 based on 20 riders or more). Sunday slow ride home. If you can't join us that early on Fri. - Someone will be at leaving to come up later and join the group! Call the Lake Topaz Lodge @ 775-266-3400 ASAP to get the Vallejo HOG rate! Poker? Details: What's a Triple D Dinner ride? It's a ride for dinner (or maybe lunch) to a place featured on the show "Diner, Drive-ins and Dives" seen on the Food Network. There close to 20 places within riding distance, so I'm hoping to make this an on-going event. I'll start us off with a ride to the Schellville Grill in the south end of the Sonoma Valley. They have great food and serve plenty, so bring an appetite! Leroy

Oakland HOG B.I.G. Run - Oakland Harley Davidson, 151 Hegenberger Rd.
Meet: 8:00 AM Leave: 8:30 AM Meet Location: ShellMcBucks - I80 and I780
Details: This is Oakland HOG's target event, so let's get out and support them like they did for us at the Vernal ride! It will be held in conjuction with Oakland H-D's Open house, and proceeds benefit the Oakland Boy's & Girls clubs of America. There will be a Slow-ride event with HOG chapter class and Open class with a 50/50 for the Open class. There will be a bake sale, raffle and much more. At 9AM the Police Motor Officer Skills Competition will begin and run through the morning. They will have a short ride leaving at 8AM and returning in time to watch the Police bikes. If you want to ride in that, registration opens at 7AM in at Oakland H-D, and you should ride directly there. Cost is $15 per rider, $10 passenger. The chapter ride leaves Vallejo a little later to join the festivities at the dealership already in action. Leroy.

Details: Dallas is holding a SF Marathon planning meeting at Las Palmitas from 6PM to 7PM. Please attend or contact him at info@vallejohog.com to let him know you will be working the event, and to get your location assignment. If you worked it last year, you'll get the same location unless you contact him to request a different one. We need to send at least 32 people to meet our commitment to the organizer. The chapter recieves $70 per assignment location filled, and that money helps fund our holiday party. Please come out and help out with this fun event! Leroy.

Details: Here we are again! -- Again this year this will be a TARGET EVENT worth DOUBLE Road Raider Miles.(600!) - - The meeting on the morning of the 25th will be at the ShelMcBucks (I80 and 780) at 0545, leave at 0600 sharp...then to the Gilman St. Exit on 80; 0630, where we'll collect $$ from those without FastTrak and we leave IMMEDIATELY! After passing thru the Bay Bridge toll booths, those with FastTrak will slow and re-form with those of us with CASH, and we'll stop at 4th and Townsend where we'll check our station assignments, and you'll receive the Course Monitor stickers...make sure that you have your assignment sheets! Those without, will get them once on *that* side of the bay --

Details: THE RIDE IS BACK!! Sacramento HD is presenting the return of this run which benefits the Law Enforcement Chaplaincy, and various Law Enforcement memorial support groups. Registration is between 8 and 8:30AM at the Sacramento Police & Sheriff Memorial at 500 Arden Way. There will be a memorial service at 8:30 with color guards and some very moving speechs, many by the families of fallen officers. At 9:30, the ride will depart for a nice ride through the Delta to Isleton. In Isleton, there will be a classic car show, live band, raffles (including one for a 2010 FLHX), live auction, food & refreshments and vendors. Cost is $20 per person.
